Our event remembers Members of our Community who have passed away in the last 12 months. All the deceased Past Pupils names are entered in our Memorial Book. Grace Murphy from the Benevolent Fund Committee read the names of all the people we are remembering from the a scroll and they will be remembered for all the days to come. Our list includes Sacred Heart Sisters, Past Pupils and Family Members of Past Pupils. Join with us and remember.

Remembrance Mass 2024

Every November, the Benevolent Committee arranges a Remembrance Mass in Mt Anville’s school chapel to honor the memory of those in our community who have passed away, especially those who have left us in the past 12 months. We gather to remember all our Sacred Heart past pupils from Mt Anville, Leeson St, Roscrea, Monkstown, and Armagh, as well as the family members of our Sacred Heart Community. We extend an invitation to all family members and friends to join us for this Mass of Remembrance at 12:00 pm and to stay afterward for tea and coffee in the Atrium. Here, we can find comfort in one another, reconnect, and share the stories and memories that hold us together as a community.

We hope that this Remembrance Service will offer some solace and support to those who have lost their loved ones. During the event, we will honor the members of our community who have passed away in the last 12 months. The names of the deceased past pupils will be entered into our Memorial Book. A member of the Benevolent Fund Committee will read these names from a scroll, ensuring they will be remembered in our hearts for all the days to come. Our list includes Sacred Heart Sisters, past pupils, and family members of past pupils.

If you would like to have a member of your family included in our service, please email Julie at pastpupilsoffice@mountanville.ie before 1st of November.

Please join us in remembrance.
